New Castle County  has experienced a 6% year-over-year decrease in the number of sold homes and a 7% decrease in the median price of sold homes, from $215,000 to $200,000. The number of homes that went under contract during the first eight months of 2011 increased 2% from this time last year.

Kent County, DE

For the first eight months of 2011, Kent County experienced a 14% year-over-year decrease in the number of sold homes and a decrease in the median sales price of 10%; from $190,000 to $171,250. The number of homes that went under contract during the first eight months of 2011 decreased 3% from this time last year.

Southern Chester County, PA

Southern Chester County has experienced an 8% year-over-year decrease in the number of sold homes and a decrease in the median sales price of nearly 6%; from $339,450 to $319,950. The number of homes that went under contract during the first eight months of 2011 decreased 9% from this time last year.

Cecil County, MD

For the first eight months of 2011, Cecil Countyexperienced a 5% year-over-year decrease in the number of sold homes and a decrease in the median sales price of 5%; from $215,000 to $203,500. The number of homes that went under contract during the first eight months of 2011 decreased 2% from this time last year.
