New Castle County, DE

New Castle County  has experienced a 2.5% year-over-year increase in the number of sold homes and a 9% decrease in the median price of sold homes, from $214,900 to $195,250. The number of homes that went under contract during the first eleven months of 2011 increased 7% from this time last year.

Kent County, DE

For the first eleven months of 2011, Kent County experienced a 5% year-over-year decrease in the number of sold homes and a decrease in the median sales price of 10.5%; from $190,000 to $170,000. The number of homes that went under contract during the first eleven months of 2011 increased 2% from this time last year.

Southern Chester County, PA

Southern Chester County has experienced a 5% year-over-year decrease in the number of sold homes and a decrease in the median sales price of 7%; from $339,900 to $315,000. The number of homes that went under contract during the first eleven months of 2011 decreased 8% from this time last year.

Cecil County, MD

For the first eleven months of 2011, Cecil County experienced a 6% year-over-year decrease in the number of sold homes and a decrease in the median sales price of 7%; from $215,000 to $200,000. The number of homes that went under contract during the first eleven months of 2011 decreased 4% from this time last year.
